Evan has practiced law over fifteen years. In that time, he has worked in a variety of environments and litigated many different types of cases, from defending evictions to litigating personal injury matters to overseeing complex litigation at a state agency. This has given him a broad understanding of the demands of the litigation universe and a familiarity with different fields of law.
Evan is barred in both New Mexico and Texas. His workplaces have included the New Mexico Department of Justice, the City of Albuquerque, and New Mexico Legal Aid. Prior to living in New Mexico, Evan practiced in Texas where he worked at Lone Star Legal Aid, Wyly & Cook, and spent a brief sabbatical teaching 11th grade US History. He currently works as Of Counsel for the Baker Law Group, handling civil litigation in New Mexico for the firm.
When not immersed in the law, Evan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys tormenting himself by rooting for the Houston Astros and Tottenham Hotspur.
